Who do we serve?
We offer counselling services to youth ages 12-21 in the Southeastern New Brunswick Area.
Update regarding services during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic:
We are currently only accepting new clients through our same-day Youth Mental Health Clinic which runs every Monday. Our clinic provides single-session, call-ahead appointments with a Counselling Therapist or Counselling Intern. Each session is 75 minutes in length and at the end of the session, clients are provided with a summary of recommendations and contact information for any necessary referrals.
Here’s how it works:
- On Monday, the person seeking services calls our clinic line at (506) 501-5504 between 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Appointments are scheduled on a first-call, first serve basis.
- They will speak with Meredith, our Community Engagement Coordinator, who will complete a screening with them and obtain a consent form.
- Meredith will then inform the person seeking services of their appointment time and will send the information to one of our Counselling Therapists. Typically, clinic sessions are completed through video, however, if that is not feasible we use an encrypted phone app to ensure confidentiality.
- At the scheduled time, the Counselling Therapist will reach out to begin the session.
